My Fall Family Bucket List

My Fall Family Bucket List

It’s Fall Y’all! Fall is the best season of all. I love everything about it. I will pumpkin spice and apple cinnamon the hell out of everything in my house. Let the temperature drop about 10 degrees and I’m making soup. Let one reddish looking leaf hit the group and I’m pulling out my boots. It’s mid – September and it’s still pretty hot outside, so I have no choice but to patiently wait to fallify (It’s a real word to me) my house.

Each year there are some unique fall experiences that I want my crew to partake in, but sometimes life gets in the way and won’t let me be great. This fall I’ve vowed to get us out and about to enjoy all fall has to offer.

Here’s my fall family bucket list:

  • Decorate the house & porch
  • Apple picking
  • Make apple cider
  • Make an apple pie
  • Make candy apples
  • Visit a pumpkin patch
  • Carve a pumpkin
  • Go on a hey ride
  • Visit the state fair
  • Corn maze
  • Campfire S’mores
  • Drink obligatory pumpkin spice latte
  • Attend a local high school football game
  • DIY fall potpourri
  • Leaf watching
  • Hot chocolate bar
  • Curl up on the couch in fuzzy socks
  • Halloween trick or treating
  • Create a leaf craft with the kids
  • Attend a fall festival
  • Cabin trip
Apple Picking

What are fall activities are looking forward to this fall?

    1. Brittany, you should absolutely go apple picking. The kids will love it. Most orchards have plenty of fun activities for the entire family. One orchard had pig racing that the entire family got waaayyy too invested. LOL

  1. I like the sound of these, we’ve never been applice picking. I think we might enjoy that. We haven’t carved a pumpkin in many years. This is the year we should get back to that.

    1. Mimi, apple picking is the absolute best. It’s a great day out with the family. Most orchards have several activities for the entire family to enjoy and sell tons of apple treats. You may be able to pick up a pumpkin for carving.

  2. Beautiful family! Every Fall I say I’m going to create a similar list…you’ve convinced me lol I’m going to create a list tonight….I am such a homeboy during the cooler weather I really need to get out and enjoy some of these activities
