The Power Hour

hate rushing! Now that school is back in session, I don’t have the luxury of chilling in the bed until the last minute. I now have three people to get dressed and out the door by 7:20am. So take my dislike of rushing and my disdain for tardiness and you now have the recipe for one stressed out momma

I had to find a way to get my life in order so my sanity could stay in check. About a year ago I implemented what my crew affectionately calls Power Hour. Power Hour is the time I spend on Sunday to set my family up for success for the upcoming week. It usually takes place between 3-5pm.  No two Power Hours are the same. It really depends on my mood and what I can comfortably accomplish within an hour. Here are a few of the things that I knock out during my Sunday Power Hour:

These are just a few ways I help my family prepare for the week. It’s not always perfect, but the little extra effort goes a long way.  Keep in mind Power Hour doesn’t have to be on a Sunday and it can include anything that helps you and your family. How do you help your family prepare for the week? I would love to hear from you.
